Mivo ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Mivo mobile application and web platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. If you sign in via Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from those providers.
We store a masked card number (e.g. ****4242) and card brand to display your saved cards. Full card numbers are never transmitted to or stored on our servers — card registration is handled directly through ConverseBank's secure payment page.
We collect your order history, including items ordered, amounts paid, and the restaurant and table associated with each session. This is necessary to operate the service and display your history.
If you allow notifications in the mobile app, we store a device push token (and the app language of that device) so we can send you order and bill updates — for example when the bill is requested at your table, when someone pays your share, or when your table is settled. These notifications are transactional; we do not send marketing notifications. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings, and the token is deleted when you sign out.
We use the following third-party services:
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted on Railway. Sensitive credentials such as payment tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
We retain your account and order data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
